- EAN-13: A barcode format (the same standard as Japan’s JAN code). KuraPro generates one for items without a barcode on the Print Labels screen.
- Excel: The spreadsheet file format (.xlsx, .xlsm). Workbooks import and export as they are — no conversion to CSV needed. → CSV, Excel, label printing and images
- Expiry Alert: A number of days set per item. Stock within that many days of its expiry date is flagged “Expiring Soon.” Nothing is flagged when it’s blank.
- Expiry Date: A use-by or best-before date. Turn it on to split the same item’s stock by date. → Location, lot and expiry

- Item: The thing you manage stock for. Holds its name, SKU, standard cost, barcodes and more. → Registering and editing items

- Min Stock / Max Stock: The thresholds used for stock alerts. Below Min Stock is “Shortage”; above Max Stock is “Overstock.”

- Unit cost: The unit price entered on a Stock In. Used to calculate the average cost under Weighted Average Cost.
