QWhat counts toward the “number of items” limit?expand_more
It's the number of different items you register, not the quantity in stock. For example, 10 units of “T-shirt (white, size M)” count as 1 item.
QWhat is the difference between a “site” and a “location”?expand_more
A “site” is a top-level unit with its own separate inventory: stock levels and transactions such as Stock In and Stock Out are kept per site, while the item master is shared across all sites. A “location” is a field that shows where in a site an item is stored, such as a shelf, room or floor. For example, “Tokyo Warehouse” and “Osaka Warehouse” can be sites, with “Shelf A” and “Shelf B” as locations inside each.
QCan I upgrade from the free plan to a paid plan?expand_more
Yes. An admin can change the plan anytime from the Plan screen in the app, and all the data you've entered carries over.
QAre there payment methods other than credit card?expand_more
Besides credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported. Customers on annual billing can also pay by invoice (bank transfer). Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider, and card details are never stored on KuraPro's servers.
QCan I cancel anytime? What happens to my data?expand_more
Yes. You can cancel anytime from the Plan screen in the app. Canceling a paid plan doesn't delete your data — your account moves to the free plan and everything is kept. If you're over the free plan's limits, you'll see a notice when you try to add something new. Subscribe again and you can pick up right where you left off.
QCan I import my existing inventory data?expand_more
Yes. You can bulk-import from Excel (.xlsx, .xlsm) and CSV (.csv) files. Upload your current Excel workbook as it is, or export a CSV from your existing system and import that.
QCan I manage multiple warehouses and stores at once?expand_more
Yes. Set up each independently run warehouse or store as a “site,” and use “locations” for the shelves, rooms and floors within it. Stock levels for all of them are kept in one place, in real time.
QCan I manage stock by lot number or expiry (best-before) date?expand_more
Yes. You can keep the same item's stock separate by lot or expiry (best-before) date, which helps with expiry control and traceability for food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and more. You can turn this on or off anytime in settings.
QCan I create purchase orders and packing slips?expand_more
Yes. Create a purchase order PDF from a Stock In and a packing slip PDF from a Stock Out. You can set the issue date, tax handling, tax rate, honorific, columns and remarks; the partner is printed as the recipient and your company as the issuer.
QCan I manage the cost and gross profit of inventory?expand_more
Yes. Choose Weighted Average Cost or Standard Cost, and inventory value and gross profit are calculated automatically from your Stock In and Stock Out records. If you don't need costing, you can switch to tracking quantities only.
QWhat does the AI actually do for my inventory?expand_more
Pick a period in Reports and AI analyzes how Stock In, Stock Out and gross profit changed, then points out the items to watch and suggests what to do next (paid plans only). The in-app AI assistant also answers questions about how to use the app or fix errors, on the spot and 24/7, and passes feature requests and bug reports straight to our team (available on the free plan too).
QCan I add my own custom management fields?expand_more
Yes. You can add your own fields (text, number, date, barcode and more) to items and transactions — color, size, notes or whatever your business needs.
QDo I need a dedicated barcode reader?expand_more
No. Your smartphone's camera works as the barcode scanner, so there's no special equipment to buy.
QIs data backed up?expand_more
Yes. KuraPro runs on AWS with 24/7 monitoring and automatic backups.
QIs my data encrypted? How is it kept secure?expand_more
Yes. All traffic is encrypted with SSL/TLS (HTTPS). KuraPro runs on AWS, and your data is protected by access controls and regular security audits.
